EACC board members had an audience with County Executive, Mr. Marc Elrich at the County Executive Building located at 101 Monroe St., Rockville, Maryland. The purpose of the meeting was to introduce the EACC to the County Executive, establish connection and an open channel of communication between the Executive’s office and the EACC. EACC board members expressed their gratitude to Mr. Elrich and his staff for their support in the past and their willingness to continue to support the Chamber.
EACC board members brought a number of issues affecting the businesses on Fenton St. and Georgia Ave corridors. From access to trash containers to unauthorized, after hours, business transactions. Other matters discussed included EACC plans to host international business events such as trade shows inside Montgomery County and upcoming visit of Ethiopian delegation representing Montgomery’s sister city in Ethiopia.
